About a year ago I went with my teenage daughter to a shopping mall in Jerusalem to look for a few comfortable long sleeve T-shirts.
We were both amazed at just how many T-shirts in Israel have English writing on them. The messages are ridiculous and more often then not spelled wrong. For a native English speaker this is embarrassing. We laughed a lot and arrived home with no new T-shirts.

Around the kitchen table our family began to come up with all these great ideas for T-shirts with Hebrew writing on them. I began to search in stores and on the Internet. On the Internet I came across some non-Jewish sights that attempted to create something in Hebrew, reminiscent of Kabalah, but they too were faced with mis-spelled mixed up messages. We began to realize that this could be the perfect family home based business we have been looking for. With the new wave of Kabalah in Hollywood we know that Hebrew letters are now cool and hip. Even in Oprahs on line boutique I found a Shirt she is selling with phonetically written Hebrew. After choosing the book “Night” by Elie Wiesel she chose the saying “Don't stand by idly when the blood of your fellow human beings is being shed”. On her T-shirt it is written “Lo taamod al dam reakha”. This too I found to be almost there but not yet. Our dream is to launch the first authentic web sight for Hebrew T-shirts.

We are living in a time when there is a search for Holiness. The masses are thirsty for something real and authentic. The possibilities are endless; Ein Sof.
We have begun with a simple collection of Black and White; also very symbolic to the Hebrew Letter. The Black and White of a Sepher Torah. We would like to make the world a little holier just one T-shirt at a time. Please join us as we build something from nothing. Help us shine the light. By wearing a HebrewTshirt you will be supporting our family in Israel.

My husband and I are originally New Yorkers who have now made our permanent residence in Israel. We live on a mountain top north of Jerusalem. When we miss the city we travel to Jerusalem. We are certain there are many New Yorkers and people around the world who may be missing Israel. It is not always possible to just pick up and travel.
Next time you are missing Israel you can order a HebrewTshirt. We look forward to creating a future generation that is not afraid of being Jewish. Most of the models featured on our sight are our own children. Help us illuminate the world.

Make our World a little Holier just one T-shirt at a time.
